Didn't they create an SMK template for HotA? It seems like it's still quite popular.

All SoD templates are supported (well, Anarchy isn't very anarchic in HotA). As for SMK, there's an issue where the road to the Guardian Outpost isn't always generated. This has been fixed and will be in the next update (+ you can modify the template to always include a road to the Guardian Outpost).

Does 8mm6a in HotA correspond to the standard template scheme? I've generated it 5 times, and the transitions between zones don't match the scheme.

The only difference (affecting all templates) is that in SoD, double passages are generated as triple passages; in HotA, this bug has been fixed, and they are generated as double passages. Otherwise, the structure is the same.
