[/U] The developers don't want to introduce a revamp in the form of a World Tree, preferring to add new ways to gain control. Perhaps something else will appear in the future. For example, banks where you get spells for winning. Or a scroll shop (like a black market). There are no specific plans yet; it's just an idea.
So, what "new methods of gaining control" are they talking about if it's all just an idea? The revamp didn't hinder the game at all, just like the old unit models didn't.
