The THIRD stage of the Van Kanighem tournament for Heroes III has begun: /topic/2286/
Everyone to the tournament! Hooray!
NOTE: Throughout all stages of the Kanighem tournament, rating aging will NOT occur. The next aging will take place ONLY after the completion of the Kanighem tournament.
No one prevents you from increasing your personal ranking in other (unofficial) tournaments. On this resource, an unofficial tournament must reach a certain number of participants (see the rules in the attached file in the previous post). Since I am running this ranking myself on my own initiative, organizers of unofficial tournaments should contact me personally regarding adding ratings for their tournament participants and ONLY after the tournament is completed :). If you are a lone wolf and like to participate in tournaments on other resources but sometimes return here, then if you wish, I will calculate your rating, provided that you already exist in the Ranking table and that you send me a link to the tournament results and a link to your message on THAT resource, where you indicate that you participated in their tournament in honor of HeroesWorld. In each case, I will make a decision individually; naturally, I need to assess the value of that tournament and other factors in order to decide whether to award the rating.
Attention! Axe adds clarifications regarding the organization of the ranking:
1. Tournaments with restrictions on participation are not eligible for rating calculation in my system.
2. I am removing the restriction on the number of participants who finished the tournament so that the tournament can be considered ranked. For this, I will look at the number of registered participants in the tournament. If the number of REGISTERED participants meets the quota specified in the rules for this version of the game, and if the organizer does not object to making his tournament ranked, the rating will be awarded even if only ONE player sends the final save. The player who sent his final save is not responsible for the others.
If you want to object or discuss something, please do not do it in this topic. Write in the neighboring topic where various systems for calculating ratings were directly discussed.
