Well, since I've been getting a lot of religious themes in the latest issues, here are some comparisons and fantasies on this topic. There's this cool track:
And here's the translation of the lyrics:
Verse 1: We do not do this out of desire We do not do this out of hate We open up our bibles And pray for forgiveness
Refrain 1: Absolution Father, absolution For a heaven with you Give me Absolution
Verse 2: We do not come out of avarice We do not come out of pride We stand for the faith And for the cross of wood
Refrain 1
Bridge: For the stake of wood Father - forgive me!
Choir: Bloodstained Remember your mortality Holy Spirit God is with us God wills it The law of Christianity Do not fear death Your heaven Drowns in blood
Refrain 2: Absolution Father, absolution Send me your angel Absolution Absolution
Choir: Send me your angel Give me Absolution
It makes me think of a certain well-known country, Actaea.
I certainly won't be introducing the Inquisition in my game. Although, perhaps that would be an interesting and quite amusing twist in the context of Actaea – to declare the current Consul a god and develop the plot from that point.
