Is there a need for a HotA tournament?

Regarding Cassiopeia, I dunno, I actually saw her as a weak link in the list of possible starters. She hits decently, sure, but everything just eats Nymphs too eagerly. The closest analogue is Ignat from Rampart, same problems. These aren't Troglodytes that stand in a stack and everyone fears them. And not Wolves, where you just keep Goblins-Orcs nearby to take the hit if needed. If neutrals can reach the Nymphs, they hit them without being distracted by anything else.

Regarding Zeffirs - before the release they adjusted the frequencies, generated 100 of 8mm6a and looked at the spawn statistics of different objects. If memory serves, Dragon Fly Hives and Zeffirs turned out roughly equal on average, each at about ~80% of the SoD amount of Dragon Fly Hives.
