You probably didn't understand. You're attacking a country that is part of a military alliance with Kittypink, and which apparently has its own nuclear weapons.
I understand that you're the GM, and you said "there definitely won't be a nuclear apocalypse." But even if we ignore such consequences, you're going to wage war and spill blood. Where is the greater evil, and where is the lesser? And it's not the evil Kittypinkians or Mushroomians who are the aggressors here, but the Security Council. Thousands of people from different countries will die, just because "they might have attacked us."
It's not necessary to solve the problem diplomatically when "they might cut off your head," but out of all the other ways, the Security Council chose the most reckless and bloody one. Let's start a world war, why not.
