Which came first: matter or spirit?

Then the body (matter) decays, and the soul (spirit) continues to live. So, it's the opposite – the body depends on the spirit. A body without a soul cannot live. A person deprived of a soul will not turn into a zombie or become a "vegetable"; they will simply cease to exist. They will die.

Yes, the spirit continues to live, but in a different matter... and in a different way. When matter disappears, the spirit that animates the matter will also disappear. The spirit is the "breath" of God in matter and for matter. This refers to the universe compressed into a person's consciousness, of course. Everything else is Divine Darkness.
