The first show tournament for Heroes III – Horn of the Abyss.

Another 12-hour game session. I took all restarts.
First one I took on 111, second on 112 - a respawn with a Dragon Utopia taken via an external dwelling of bears on 111, and I also pulled Tyraxor level 5 with logistics and pathfinding out of a prison, but the respawn had no objects and not much visible gold.

I won't describe the bugged draft, but overall it was all good — by 112, Crag was already level 10, there was an external dwelling of bears, a Utopia, 3 Griffin Conservatories, and a KZ behind the sharpshooters, but Maretti has no road to GO. Technical restart.

Medium roads generated, much to Maretti's delight, but I had Gunnar in the tavern and stables in front of the castle. On the first day, I discovered three "Zephyrs", a Griffin Conservatory, and a Dragon Fly Hive near the castle. On 112, I freed Luna level 5 with expert fire and air from prison; she was supposed to take the verified minimum Griffin Conservatory and use a wall to gather the "Zephyrs" easily without losses.
But something went wrong, because I forgot she was on a single goblin, not the usual fairies, and I couldn't take the Conservatory without losses. I ran from it and decided to take the Conservatory with Gunnar; the scout hero next to him would run to take the external dwelling of bears with the remnants. Luna stopped at the first "Zephyr".
In the end, by week 1, I took 2 external dwellings of bears, gathered 20 cyclopes, found 4 Dragon Fly Hives, a Red Tower, Shackles of War, a Red Orb, and 2 components for the new Ogre's artifact set.

Luna on an angel runs toward the GO, which consists of Hydras and 100+ Minotaurs.
I only came out on 124, because I couldn't deliver the army earlier.
Gunnar took the Red Tower and visited stables; he also took a Pandora's Box of 20K gold and an empty Pandora's Box; Grechka took the Golden Bow, another "Zephyr", and the maximum Dragon Fly Hives.
I lost troops here and there, but nothing too critical.

Before the exit, I took a Vampire Mansion with the scout hero; there were another minus 2 bears, but I wasn't too upset since I had no way to upgrade them anyway, but the mansion gave a Tunic +4 to spell power; I only needed to find a Club +5 for the artifact set.

124 — I breach the GO with Luna, break it with Gunnar and Grechka, and run into the center. Immediately to the right, a passage to the Inferno respawn; further down the road, Black Dragons guard the desired Club +5, Medal of Diplomacy, and a Dragon Fly Hive. Bone Dragons nearby guard a Pandora's Box of 25 demons, and since I had already taken another Pandora's Box of 25 demons earlier, I attack 10-19 Black Dragons. I sacrifice all those demons there and send Luna to the respawn to burn the Nagas for a Shield +5 for the artifact set.

125 — I run with Gunnar along the path into the center; with a scout spell, I see the road is crooked and long, and halfway it hits a block of Titans and Black Dragons leading to a wasteland neutral zone. I break through the Black Dragons and was already planning to run into that respawn, but I spotted a +5 all stats behind devils and a Griffin Conservatory behind 20+ Bone Dragons. I decided to take the +5 sword and stopped in front of the dragons waiting for delivery of the Shield +5 for the artifact set.
But on Maretti's turn, he attacks me with a superior army; I kill his grand elites, half of the cavalry, and some wyverns and flee without paying a ransom because I have no gold.
Everything is grim; I only have 3 Phoenixes, no gold, the passage to the nearby Inferno respawn is guarded by a group of Enchanters, and even the assembled artifact set doesn't help.

And then Grechka enters the arena; thanks to expert pathfinding and basic logistics, and being speed-boosted on a Phoenix, he runs onto the wasteland neutral zone with the artifact set, 3 Phoenixes, and 25 dogs from a Pandora's Box.
Meanwhile, Gunnar pulls a "feint", buys himself back in the central town, and runs into Maretti's line of sight. This way I wanted to distract him from heading to the wasteland respawn and buy time with tactics.
I hope Maretti has no scouting and didn't notice this move, and also that he'll be afraid to fight the Titans and scout that respawn.
That's exactly what happened. Maretti chased Gunnar, who, after buying himself out, bought himself back in a Dungeon captured by Grechka on the wasteland respawn.
Then maximum scouting of the respawn, while Kirr was out of sight — probably clearing the center. I find a Utopia, 2 Griffin Conservatories for a total of three angels, +12 to spell power, and a Shield +4 all stats.
Maretti sent his two scouts to this respawn, but I managed to kill them with the Shackles and the artifact set, deliberately revealing them so he'd think ten times before making contact.
Also an important point: I dug up Alamar with resurrection, and Luna has expert literacy; after learning resurrection, I take the Utopia. From useful items, I get a +3 all stats necklace, and now I have gold.
Scouts revealed below the Dungeon a Dragon Fly Hive and a "Zephyr". Where there was one "Zephyr", there turned out to be 2 more, and I built up a decent stack of cyclopes — about 30.
During this time, Luna sits in the Dungeon, replenishes mana; Kirr flies to the Dungeon and kills the scout hero. I bring the army to Luna, equip the Red Orb, and attack with the intent to pay ransom and transfer the army to Gunnar for exploring the Inferno respawn.
Gunnar breaks into the Inferno respawn and immediately at the entrance there are 3 Utopias near the castle.
I take the Inferno town, buy Luna there, and take the first Utopia with her.
I get Wings. In the second Utopia, I get the long-awaited KZ and a Hat of +5 magic. In the third, I get something for stats.
Meanwhile, Kirr hops and runs around stat boosters +2 all stats and takes my towns that are no longer significant.
On 141, Kirr took my Dungeon village from me, where he stopped.
I upgrade the bears, take the artifact for neutral morale, and attack.
After an implosion dealing 3K damage to 8 angels, the opponent surrenders.
