I don't know how ripe yours are, but from my experience, mangoes are the tastiest when they lie for 2-3 days and ripen. Pineapple is probably the same, but it's usually eaten before that.

Yes, I always "let" pineapples ripen, but they don't ripen to that extent in Ukrainian regions, even after a week of "ripening."

In general, Indians know how to eat, so I can update this topic every day now. Despite the fact that most dishes are vegetarian (no meat, no eggs, but with dairy), it's quite tasty. The main thing in all the cafes/restaurants/"food trucks" is not to forget to warn "NO SPICE PLEASE!" Of course, it will still be with spices, but at least it will be edible :)

Here's another local dish that I've become addicted to. It's not even a dish, but an ingredient in many dishes - paneer - bland (even without salt) cheese, similar to our "Zdravye," but not fatty at all. Yum! I can't seem to get enough of it ))

It is considered one of the best sweet dishes in eastern India. It tastes like sweet yogurt, which it is. I confirm, it's one of the most delicious local dishes )


Jalebi
I don't like dough (even such a peculiar one) fried in oil, so I didn't appreciate it. But I laughed at the local saying "Straight as a jalebi." I suspect this is the equivalent of our "The East is a delicate matter")
