- "Are you sure you want to go back?..." - the werewolf asked again, but seeing that the elf truly wanted to return, he said:
- "Then I suppose I must... sigh... but what will they do to you when you return?..."
- All right *sobs*, I'm with you...
Oops :o :o :D Who's there? In any case, my apologies - I didn't mean to... And you won't be able to knock off any horns - I'm not a demon, and I don't have any ;) And besides - swearing is not good, dear:D :D
A druid emerged from the bushes with a bump on his forehead... He looked such that I struggled to hold back my laughter. The offended druid looked at me reproachfully, applied some kind of potion to the bump - and it vanished almost before my eyes.
- You see, I need moon flax - and the stone was in the way of getting it. I had to teleport it. By the way - what were you doing in the bushes? ;) Weren't you spying on the fairies?:D :D
- ?
- Have you really not heard of me? I am a writer! I write novels - the elf proudly pulled some kind of booklet from his tunic. - like this one! - the cover depicted a fairy completely without branches, sitting in a "nude" style on a flowery meadow, and the title above her read: "Secrets of the Forest. Volume 2". - I am a very popular author in the imperial provinces, it's impossible that you haven't heard of me!
Note: the prototype for this character is the sannin Jiraiya from the "Naruto" cartoon :D;)
Well, this is something... In fact, things took such a sharp turn that I didn't really have to think or even feel - like being scared or worried - everything just went on its own, as always happens to me in critical situations.
Waiting for a peasant, pursued by a pair of imps, to dash past me, I stood up and immediately, without looking back, struck backward with my sword by chance - a useful technique if there's something unknown, but definitely something bad, behind you. A human scream and a demonic howl rang out simultaneously - it seems that with my longsword, I hit both our side and theirs...
Cracking my staff over someone else standing in my way, I ran toward the church. Fortunately, the demons were too busy with the peasants, and the peasants with the demons, so I only suffered slightly from the blast wave of a nearby exploding fire demon, scared off a couple of cerberuses, and I think I actually killed one imp while clearing my path. Once, a real devil stood before me - huge and terrifying, with a strange but clearly lethal weapon in his hand. Before I even had time to be frightened, I hit him with a long-prepared lightning bolt and bolted at full speed while he was recovering.
However, I thought on the way to the church, what a mess is going on here! In none of the other cities had such a thing happened to me...
It seems, I thought, that this attack was planned by the demons long ago - it's going too abruptly and successfully, and no one noticed them. Surely the censer was stolen specifically in connection with this attack - it's clearly dangerous for demons in some way. Well, all the more reason to find it... And, it means, someone in the city helped the demons - since the censer is so dangerous to them that they couldn't even attack while it was here, they certainly wouldn't have been able to steal it themselves.
Thinking this and constantly looking around, ready to repel any attack, I approached the church. Unfortunately, I had no energy left for spells today, and the strength for speed spells was already starting to leave me. I turned the corner and saw the church...
At dawn, to cover as much ground as possible before the heat. Then we'll "chat" with the little people.
And what about you, do you want to be an archmage yourself?
:smile14: :smile14: :smile14: :smile14: :smile04: :smile04: :smile04:
- Thanks, something to chew on along the way!:D - and I, with a bag of haggises in hand, rushed out into the street!:smile14: :smile04:
- In that case, I'll stay with you for a while. You can ask if anything is interesting, and I'll have a snack...
OFF:Request to Tengro and Supremum to answer Sara and Knight and anyone else who has "fallen asleep" or been forgotten.
