Considering that Eragon and Roran have natural defenses, Saphira can be resurrected, and Elva is resistant to physical attacks, Nasuada can assign guards to protect herself (I didn't see a rule prohibiting the use of natural defenses on oneself), and the dwarves have a very good chance of getting into the melee and not killing their own. What do you think, is this risk justified?

Another argument in favor of this tactic is that the Mages have Darza, who can mass-kill targets and everyone who comes to their aid, piercing defenses. That is, if the city units defend each other too much, it might even be detrimental. For example, Sezam has now practically revealed herself as a peaceful unit, and now peaceful units with their natural defenses might be drawn to her... this would be a bad tactic, simply a gift for the Mages. In this sense, it is better to take a risk and attack themselves. First of all, this applies to city units, as they have more information. I don't think it's worth it for single peaceful units. In general, it's risky, and it's difficult to assess how justified it is. But as an option, it's not bad at all!
