This is important. We can either each play in our own ideal little worlds, or we can participate in creating a cohesive world consisting of interconnected states and related events. If you prefer the former, we can stop here, but then I don't see any point in this thread existing beyond jokes and discussions about individual ideas.
Which one? I don't see how one island can hinder the creation of a cohesive world if it only complements it. As for interconnected states, representatives of some countries in Antagarich haven't met yet, and they're still managing. And even if a new continent is populated, it will either take a very long time to establish connections, or there simply won't be contact with all countries. And having one country on two continents doesn't seem worse to me than having two or more countries on several continents and having the opportunity to interact between them. Here, one person definitely gets the opportunity to play with themselves and form alliances.
