I definitely choose Mefu. I don't like heroes with advanced skills at all, because there are often situations where the skill level doesn't increase quickly, and for example, Tazaru gets Tactics, then they stuff him with junk up to level 5, and as a result, at level 5 he has Expert Armor and Tactics, at level 6 you have to take Wisdom, level it up to 9, and hope for something random at level 9, and you can get into a really bad situation at level 9. But Leadership is a perfectly viable skill, and in a situation with 2 skills at the beginning, you can not upgrade it for a very long time. There are still definitely 7 essential skills in the game, and you can ignore one mediocre skill at the beginning. Out of this pair, I'll choose "the sparrow."
