Why specifically to the weapon?!

I mean that I attached a crossbow to the gremlin's hand with an effect, and after its death, the crossbow sticks out of the ground in an unsightly way. If I attach it to a cannon, it will look better, even though the crossbow will be hitting the soldier on the head. :)
