Well, it's quite logical that griffins choose archers as their target – firstly, they can reach them within the first turn, and secondly, archers usually don't move much during a battle when they have ammunition left, which significantly increases the chance of hitting the target. As for the fact that a griffin turns towards its target, I never paid attention to that... Thanks! :)
