All restarts were used by me and my opponent. At the start, there was a crypt-maximal near the castle, which I broke on month 1, day 21 with upgraded pegasi and dwarves. Nearby there was one mill, and there was no other place to get gold. But I bought the growth. The guards were strong everywhere — harpies, minotaurs, dragonflies — but I found 3 beehives that I didn't have time to take. There was nowhere much to spread out; one road led to a guard with behemoths and upgraded wyverns, the other to a secondary hero underground. The underground was guarded by harpies; I broke it on month 1, day 21, found a Necropolis secondary hero, took it without trouble, got Earth magic, and nearby a Griffin Conservatory. It seemed like everything was starting to fall into place, but my opponent's position was much worse, and on month 1, day 22, it was GG. Thanks for the game! :)
