Yes, and they'll slaughter the peaceful population, after which for several weeks (maybe even months, I didn't time it... definitely a long time, that's for sure) all buildings in Harmondale will stop "opening their doors" - accordingly, you can neither enter the shop nor visit the instructor.:(
But personally, after my first walkthrough with Malvik, I did this: I would lure dragonflies toward him, and then take the wand from the corpse... I should note, it's completely useless, as at such a level it's easier to injure yourself with a fireball - rats and spiders certainly aren't worth such expenses, and the dragon is red anyway, so he doesn't care about fire... But by the way, I always killed the dragon regardless.:smile50: I just really want the artifact, plus there's simply a sea of experience for a starting level.:smile03:
