I really enjoyed Pirates, 1 and 2. It's a very interesting game with a pirate theme.

Oh! I have a special fondness for the Pirates series. Pirates 2: Styx and Tribex is excellent – I liked everything about it, everything was interesting, everything was new – both the naval battles and the sword fights, and completing quests, and what a great main quest it was – simply fantastic!!! Now, when I remember it, only pleasant thoughts come to mind... :)
On a wave of euphoria, I bought Pirates 3 – I was expecting a continuation, improvements, etc. But (!) I was cruelly disappointed – apparently, money and other financial gains decide everything; I didn't find anything new or interesting – a standard scheme: you sail in, you kill everyone, you win – and no pirate romance!!! And most importantly (!) – the game had so many bugs that the world has never seen anything like it (at least, I haven't) – as a result, it was impossible to even complete this "game" without patches. In the end, I turned to the help of the Great and Mighty Russian language, sent all the developers of Pirates 3 to a faraway, faraway galaxy, and I don't remember it anymore... :(
