A THREAD FOR NEWCOMERS!

My friend has Windows 8. He installed a mod, a patch, and the complete collection of Heroes 3. He connected via Hamachi, and it shows as green, but the game doesn't detect the network, and I can't see his game. Similarly, it doesn't connect via IP address... We've adjusted all the settings and disabled the firewalls... Hamachi seems to be working, but it can't find the game... Can you advise on how to properly configure it for Windows 8?

Check the ping in Hamachi - double-click on the opponent's nickname. If the ping doesn't go through, try restarting Hamachi on both computers / restarting both computers / or just wait. Usually, one of these options helps me). However, there was a situation where the ping with one person wouldn't go through at all (it was there initially, then disappeared), but he was still shown in Hamachi as turquoise.
And if the ping is present, maybe you're entering the wrong IP address? You need the IPv4 address from Hamachi.
