Everything was going well; I defeated two AI opponents on the first map, and left the last one with a single hero (Solmyr). I placed horses in the castle, along with a non-critical Izra, and a level 8 Moner with earth magic, logistics, and slow. I started from a brown rampart, heading towards the treasury through the nagabank and consulate, defeating Moner along the way and building a chain to him. I boosted him with one fairy, a citadel, and six centaurs in the castle, each with one unit. On my turn, the last AI hero, Solmyr, attacked. My units formed two stacks and died in the first round from the chain spell that the AI had deliberately left for me. The royal speed boost of +1 decided the outcome, and this kind of situation happens often, making me lose the desire to play without Moner. Thank you for the game!
