“Didn’t go well” is an understatement. The start was decent; I had a Moner and a stable. On day 2, I got stuck at 20-49 marks, not sure which passage it was guarding, maybe 20, maybe the maximum. There were a lot of them. Plus, morale was an issue, and I was left with 8 air units. There were many exits at the fork, and I tried to find a passage to my home computer. I cleared a couple of passages, but they weren't the right ones. There were still a couple left, one of which was behind a one-way passage. My opponent immediately found the entrance to the one-way passage, which was guarded by 6000. So, the computer must be in the last one, guarded by 20-49 simple Gogs. I calmly go there and... get my butt kicked. It turned out to be another passage with a 6000 value, but why were there so few Gogs? I go for a second attempt, finish off with some Psychics, and get out onto the dirt road. My opponent showed up at a very inconvenient time and, with a funny army of 117, pushed me back to the tavern again :D. I couldn't place any birds. Towards the end of the second week, things started to improve. I reached the computer and found a Barbarian, from which I could expand. I had two prisons with a Kreg with an experience log and a Gunnar with zero stats. I didn't have a large army, but it was more than enough to sit in the citadel. And I could have stayed there if I hadn't been stingy with the Psychic, who was getting lost on quick movement. The computer's Zuban turned out to have 40!!! mana and a 50-damage attack. After that, I gave up. I made some more mistakes and surrendered. It was even more frustrating that my opponent wasn't having a great game either. Thanks for the game.
