I attack a squad of Elven Swordsmen on the left, gain a level, but the defense doesn’t increase further. There’s probably something wrong here. The chance should be 9 * 0.15 = 1.35, which is already 100%.”

By the way, the problem turned out to be caused by some custom maps; he removed them, and now everything is fine.
