31 archer, Shiva, and a Griffin Conservatory showed up, I decided to play. Very little money, the road to the teleport was long, but the junction with access to the center and my own opponent's town was quite good (though it's blocked by a horde of gr. pegasi).
As a result, on the 1st week I headed towards the purple bot, which turned out to be Inferno. I sit down on day 117 in a Castle town, everything there is set up for Efreeti, so I hire them instead of Horses.
Very little army, the home Griffin Conservatory turned out to be 3+, Mass Slow isn't maxed, so I decide to start with Dragon Fly Hives, I take two - 6+6 and prepare to break back home. At this time, Tyris jumps out of the teleport with decent stats and an army of 5-9 Angels, 1-4 Fire Birds, 5-9 Psychos, and a zoo with good combat stats. We're screwed :(
I break back into the Castle with an under-leveled Earth Magic and get ready to dump into the max-level Conservatory, but the last fight finally gives me the coveted skill and the level 3 spells go down without issue.
Meanwhile, Tyris without a spellbook (as revealed later) got cold feet and broke back home :p
My Shiva with 3400 MP flies to the two scouted Griffin Conservatories and a Dragon Utopia, collecting money chests along the way. But the Conservatories turned out to be level 1, and there's nothing to do in a Dragon Utopia with such a setup.
The plan changes - on the Inferno side there's another Conservatory and a Dragon Utopia near the far corner village. As a result, I break in with Shiva into Inferno, but I make a mistake by overestimating the army and rushing into the Conservatory without checking with a zero-level scout hero. Naturally, it's max level there, and the bot on quick combat loses without killing even half :D
With a heavy heart I start scraping by and barely pull it off, losing everything except 7 Efreeti Sultans and 4 Angels.
The main hero gets resupplied with power and dives into a level 2 Dragon Utopia. They reward royally: +2 all stats and a Ring of Greater Immunity :smile03:
But the opponent still has much more power. The plan is to demonize everything I have and by week 4 field a hundred Demons and Arch Devils.
Shiva runs to another corner village with 8 Angels while the rest of the crew is massing Demons in another corner of the map. In the corner village, we found a level 1 Dragon Utopia with a +4+4 Crown, which isn't that bad overall.
I Town Portal home and with the same 8 Angels run to 2 more revealed Dragon Utopias (in the very back of a huge respawn area).
In the first Dragon Utopia, a jackpot on stats: +6 and +3 all stats and a +12 Sword (I had no Sword or Pendant at all before this). As a result, the stats are already out of this world compared to the opponent's weak main hero.
The second Dragon Utopia gives an even more valuable Book of Air plus 2 level 2 Conservatories and an external Angel dwelling next to it.
As a result, by day 145 we have Shiva with 39 28, 14 Arch Devils, 97 Demons, 14 Efreeti Sultans, 3 Bears, and single Sultans, with full control and maximum movement range. :smile10:
I go visit the opponent; no one is there to meet me, all the troops are roaming around the orange and lilac respawn areas, no chains and no control.
And the next turn, an unexpected finale happened:
My level 1 Eleshar with Archery and 1+1+1+1+1+1+8 Centaurs against
an Aeres level 1 with Lightning and 4+4+4+3+3+3+3 Sprites.
Completely unexpectedly, I managed to pull it off. Having lost the key hero and most of the army, the opponent surrenders! :smile03:
