“Two Seasons: Winter-Spring 2015” Tournament. Online games for rating (reports, discussions).
Tried the template. The start was tough; on the second week I took out a couple of computers, and only on the third week did I capture two level-one Griffin Conservatories and break into the center, which turned out to have only mines, passages to other zones, and... that's it. On the fourth week, the opponent, who had amassed a power stack with an advantage in stats and troops, started pursuing me. There was a funny moment: I attacked one of the enemy mains, who had 17 spell power and a tome of fire magic; he decided not to cast Armageddon on the first turn, but on the second — thanks to a couple of lucky morale boosts, he didn't make it in time. A couple of turns before the final battle, I found a box for all the Earth magic, but the main hero still hadn't learned Earth, so I had to accept the fight. The final battle turned out to be surprisingly even, but the opponent still overwhelmed me. Thanks for the game.
