Thank you for the congratulations, and as promised, see below my walkthrough. Walkthrough of the Mr[1]. Skelet Revenge map by Dmitry_A_S Hello, dear fans of "hero-ing"! In my walkthrough, I will tell you how I managed to "gather" over 20,000 skeletons. At the moment, I don't know if that's a lot or a little, because the results will be announced on March 29th. Here, I will focus not on a step-by-step description of my actions, but on the general principles of the walkthrough, the observance of which allowed me, and I hope will allow you, to achieve a similar result (with the exception of those who, of course, completed the map better than I did). In short, read my advice. So, after completing the map, I noted the following points that I consider important: 1. The tournament task is to gather the largest number of skeletons, and for this purpose, we are given the only necromancer capable of doing this - Mr. Skelet (hereinafter MS). Other necromancers are unavailable due to the clever design of the organizers. And if you also take into account the fact that in all necropolises it is impossible to build a skeleton converter (this greatly simplifies the development of a general strategy), then MS remains alone with his problem of gathering more bony little men. But he cannot do without helpers. 2. I considered it necessary at the very beginning to dig up heroes-runners for long distances in the tavern - Dessa and Gunnar (Kir is already occupied by a computer). This is necessary to collect the slow-moving units from MS at the end of the day, so that he can run further the next day. Besides Dessa and Gunnar, no one can catch up with MS, since the helpers themselves will be slowed down by those infamous slow-moving units taken from MS. For this purpose, Dessa and Gunnar, with the help of chests (we leave neutral creatures for MS), are upgraded to expert logistics (main) and advanced earth magic (secondary, done during the walkthrough and necessary for the city portal). Unfortunately, we could not learn the pathfinding skill with them. 3. There is no flight or dimension door on the map, so we need a very hardy runner. But despite this, there is resurrection, so you can run head-on with a couple of hundred bony little men, without being afraid to lose them. I defeated the ghost dragons (69-70-1) on the 11th day (367 skeletons, 4 black knights, 5 groups of 1 wolf riders, 36 mana; advanced logistics, expert wisdom, spellcasting, earth, advanced pathfinding, characteristics 3-4-6-5). It could have been done earlier, but I spent time clearing my territory. 4. MR initially has basic logistics, wisdom, spellcasting, and earth magic. Then I learned pathfinding, intelligence, water, and defense. As you can see, with this setup, I could not learn air magic, but this is not important, since on this map, in my opinion, air magic is absolutely unnecessary, but pathfinding is essential. If someone needs air magic, there is an option: pathfinding - artillery - diplomacy - air magic. The option I chose seems preferable, since intelligence gives us the necessary mana reserve (we can no longer worry about it), and water can be useful for "breaking" snipers and archmages (forgetfulness). Well, defense is not a bad option, it's good that they didn't give us navigation. Diplomacy (in the second option) is absolutely useless without a skeleton converter, and I already talked about air magic. Don't forget to achieve universal idyll, raise the main hero's boots 54-113-1 and buy gloves on the black market 126-6-0. 5. As quickly as possible, clear the map of computers (but not all of them), so that they destroy as few neutral creatures as possible. But first, don't forget to occupy all the necropolises. 6. Don't forget to learn the city portal from the scholar in 101-125-1 and activate the event near him in 113-124-1, picking up the shackles of war, as they say, for the thrill. 7. Even taking into account the speed of my main hero, I did not have time to clear the map of the creatures left "behind" me if I occupied the last two rampart cities, Emerald Mire and Gladeroot, with the main hero. Then, realizing that there was no need for this (only disadvantages), I occupied the indicated cities with Gunnar (then gave both cities back within a week). In fact, I wouldn't need these two cities, especially since all the neutrals on this territory were finished by the computer by the time I arrived, and his heroes sooner or later appeared on my territory (where they successfully found their end). But near Gladeroot there are 3333 archmages (113-32-0) - the largest concentration of neutral creatures on the map, and therefore someone needs to occupy it, and you know why... 8. Do not touch the "neutrals" unless absolutely necessary, so that they accumulate from week to week. 9. MS, as they say, is born with the amulet of the gravedigger. What is he missing for a complete set, you say, and you will be absolutely right. We get the vampire cloak by defeating the ambush in 132-25-0, and the boots of the dead by defeating the nasty snipers in 133-138-0. Now we have a complete necromantic-gentleman's set in the form of 100% skeleton boost (30% - spellcasting, 30% - artifacts, 40% - necropolises). As you can see, there is no need to dig for the grail (you can't raise more than 100% anyway). I remind you that we are not collecting the shroud of the undead king, because we only need skeletons, remember! 10. Having the above set, you can have MS clear the map. I started doing this after capturing the city of Greenfalls on the 57th day. When clearing the map, I first focused on high-quantity units, including those hidden from my all-seeing eye... 11. It would be nice if, during the walkthrough, weeks or months of some creatures "dropped". This will help improve the overall skeleton picture. By the way, I had weeks of guardians and hobgoblins "drop". And, oh my god, what is this, on the night of the 84th to the 85th day, wow, wow, wow, Gog doubled his population. Well done, Gog, yes, you're great, Gog, yes! But Gog's gift, unfortunately, was not useful to me... 12. To save my precious time, during the walkthrough I used the fast battle mode from the fourth week. By that time, I had archangels and ghost dragons in my army. Before serious battles, I just gave the skeletons to Dessa or Gunnar. Even if you lose some of the archangels and dragons (how eloquently), it's not a big deal. It's not skeletons. I manually fought the snipers in 133-138-0, the ambushes in 132-25-0 and 101-47-0, the archmages in 113-32-0, and the computers with a large army. That seems to be all. Let's summarize... RESULTS: As a result of the above manipulations, I created, or rather led into the darkness, 20652 skeletons. MS, taking into account the artifacts, had "characteristics" 29-27-42-29. That's how it all happened quickly, simply, and with taste. Thank you for your attention! With great respect, Dmitry_A_S
