A phantom is incorporeal, like a ghost, but if it takes even 1 point of damage, the phantom disappears.

But somehow, when my troops attack enemy phantoms, it's always a "miss," but when their phantoms attack mine, they immediately defeat them. Does the probability of eliminating a phantom unit depend on the hero's level?
