God... Truth or fiction?

Information taken from the World History:
1) 439 AD - the Vandals conquered Africa. The kingdom existed until 534 AD.
2) Muslim conquests began in the 630s.
The Vandals were long gone by then. So, the Maghreb readily accepted Islam. Egypt, of course, was not happy, but they weren't forced to convert to Islam.
In general, Muslims tried not to convert anyone to Islam. The reason is simple: a Muslim does not pay taxes. But they also cannot engage in trade. The forced spread of Islam is a myth!
