The Mafia could have aimed for a natural defense. The second Mafia night action could have been a check, and the third, logically, would have been a block, but it seems to always be displayed. Maybe they decided not to narrow down the circle of suspects and used a misdirection, for example, or didn't take a third night action at all. Regarding Yashur, I agree it was either a heal or a defense. Most likely the latter. Our options are either a neutral night action or an ontology check, which is risky.
