Strange love.

I have a friend... He's gay... but he's just a super guy. He always comes through and always helps. He listens to super music and draws great. He has remained my friend, and for that I respect him....

Similarly - I also have an acquaintance like that (and he also draws well :) ). Until I was told that he is "under the rainbow flag," I wouldn't have guessed myself - you just can't tell by his appearance and image... Then, obviously, I saw him with his "beloved" - a strange couple, but I wouldn't say they looked vulgar/unnatural/disgusting/or anything else - just two people passionate about each other, even if in not quite suitable bodies.
I am loyal toward such people - after all, it is their life, their right...
Although, I would really not want this to affect me personally in one way or another... especially in the worst-case scenario - when "you suddenly find out that your boyfriend is gay" (if such a thing is even possible, I don't know)...
