We can't allow other countries to set foot on our territory. It's better to have a military-trade alliance, but without deploying bases. Just in case of aggression from any of the countries, we'll support our ally.
In case of aggression, I certainly allow free carrying of weapons, and everyone in my army has undergone training, but a rifle against hydrogen bombs is not quite the right approach. So, having allied bases with their own air defense would be a good thing.
