It’s quite easy to defeat wolves without any losses; it’s more difficult with phoenixes, but it’s still possible – I’ve managed it several times. It’s especially great to defeat them with dwarves and upgraded light magic.
But in general, Kyle is right – it’s normal to suffer losses in battles with neutral creatures. But Alex Ghost is also right, in my opinion – neutral creatures should be more or less equal in strength, and it’s absurd that you lose a lot of units in a battle with water elementals, but in a battle with earth elementals, you only waste time and patience. I understand that when earth elementals work in a team with other units, it’s effective, but the point is that neutral creatures are neutral, meaning they should stand in squads of one type of unit. As a result, there is a real imbalance:(
