I'll give my assessment of two simpler films, not as brilliant as Drive. Edge of Tomorrow. In principle, it's a decent film, with a very energetic, even somewhat rushed beginning, a good middle part with several cool moments, but it clearly falters towards the end, and the ending itself is incredibly stupid: watchable/10. World War Z. I was the one who told Revan about this film, and I really liked it. It's the most realistic version of a zombie apocalypse out of everything I've seen in movies. Individual people don't behave like idiots, the government doesn't behave like idiots, the concept of "zombies" isn't something new to humanity, and there are no stupid moments like "a person was bitten, and no one understands what it entails." Overall, the film is much more engaging than Shades of Darkness. I'll give it two ratings: a good film/10, and one of the best zombie films/10. I don't know if it's worth mentioning that both films are relatively easy-to-watch action movies and were rated accordingly? Perhaps it's worth mentioning.
