“Two Seasons: Winter-Spring 2015” Tournament. Online games for rating (reports, discussions).
From the very beginning, the Grind map was excellent! I immediately researched the Slow spell. In the first week, I built everything except for the dragons in my castle. My secondary town was in the Dungeon. In the second week, I headed to the Treasury. I took the Earth book there, fought with archers, and lost them in arena battles. Then, I crossed the swamp and reached the enemy territory, captured the swamp castle, restored my mana, and cast a 1000-damage spell before diving into the next dungeon. That's where I got caught. The final troops were quite weak on both sides. I had 16 ducks, and my opponent had 34, but I had the damage spell. I wanted to cast it and retreat, but I didn't have enough money – I was 2,000 short. The enemy had Haste, and I couldn't complete my turn. But the situation was good with the damage spell. Thanks for the game!
