When facing a Tower/Inferno pairing, many players might reasonably ask, "What should I do?" Restarting the game just because you're playing as Tower... but what if the next generation gives you a Rampart with terrible blocks? Or the opponent gets Necropolis with Galthar? Or the same pair of castles again?
When starting with fixed castles, you restart knowing that both you and your opponent will have the same castle and hero, so it makes sense to restart because there aren't many good options.
It's hard to speak for others, but personally, I only restart when the game really gives me a bad start, especially on Hell difficulty. Many players, judging by the streams, restart not because it's bad, but because it's not ideal.
