It was the orange player who went down into the dungeon, captured the mine, and then headed towards the castle. I didn't know where the castle was. So, I ended up at the dragons first, who demanded 100 archers. Then I found the castle. Apparently, a patrol stops being considered a patrol if it's not throughout the entire dungeon, or at least in the castle. And I caught the other player later, when he was running past the castle.
