I like two standards: the one here and this one. The standards you proposed: blind play, chatting through the nights, inventing god knows what kind of characters are not to my liking. Why? Because
1. I am used to thinking, not chatting about nothing. In a blind game there are fewer facts and more chatter.
2. At night one must reflect on the results of the day and make decisions. Nightly chatting interferes with this.
3. I filled out my profile once and last changed it 25 games ago. And your quents have to be invented every time, as I understand it... However, if the Mage Guild posts them themselves and one only needs to choose, then it could be worth a try.
