What is your opinion about Heroes IV?

I think people get more attached to the version they played first. I didn't like the fourth one; I remember how I was looking forward to it...

No, I'm going to disagree with that! The third one was the first one I played. Yes, undoubtedly, many, many hours were spent playing it... :smile26: But! HMM V captivated me... It was with them that I started seriously thinking about combat tactics, the idea of completing the game, following the plot, and generally delving into the details, rather than just accumulating troops and completing absolutely monotonous tasks like defeating all enemies/finding an artifact/defeating a monster without reading the plot (which usually got boring after two messages in the third game)...
