No, I don't think so... I would gather statistics, of course, but subjectively, it seemed different to me.

Out of all the games I've participated in, the Town won only once (69), and even then, it was a miracle, because the Town had only one extra vote, and the Mafia were almost all still in the game (only Arandora was eliminated on the first night). It was helped by a successful check on you on the 2nd turn, the killing of Nebula, and the suicide of Warrior, who had your status. ;)
