To add to the previous speaker, I will repeat that IMHO this is more convenient, since you don't have to open a bunch of tabs with profiles.

That is true, it is much more convenient. On our MF, at first we also made hints based on profiles, but then, deeming it bad form, we switched to quents, and since then only quents.
Firstly, it is more convenient
secondly, one person might have something special in their profile, while another third of people have everything overlapping and common
thirdly, the profiles are really too short. And if you need many hints, there is simply nowhere to come up with them. On our MF, usually the first hint is quite difficult, the second one is already a guiding hint. Then it gets even simpler.
