You should only judge based on the results of interrogations - it's not ideal, but I've never seen a style where mafia or town start justifying a townie by pointing fingers at everyone else: "No, we shouldn't hang him - let's hang him instead! Or that guy - he doesn't have a good face! Or that one - he's just a newbie and quiet! Or anyone else!" Only mafia behave like that! (Well, also cultists or townies who know each other, but we only have one cult here: the witch and her apprentice, and the apprentice isn't in on it).
