The game was consistently against me; the path led not to the treasure but to the neighboring respawn point through the treasure location. I ran around for a long time trying to find something, and on turn 147, my opponent took the Castle. I almost managed to reclaim it, but on turn 211, he attacked. After he defeated my archers, I lost the desire to continue. He typed "gg," but then we decided to play again. He was clearly winning, probably because he had a lot of experience playing with Elves in this game, and that's what hooked him. Thanks for the game.
