Mafia 90. The Tale of Oldforest.

Unexpectedly, the azure blue was covered by gloomy clouds, the wind howled, sweeping passersby off their feet. A mournful wail of ghosts came from the swamp. Soon, they were already in the village. The Knight helped the Mage tame the rampant evil forces and completely forgot that he was going to protect someone.

What is this? I think it wasn't written just like that. I assume it's the Mage's ultimate ability, and it was used because the Mage is the Silent Flower.

I didn't immediately understand what happened to Ment, let's use the method of elimination:
The Brownie's block doesn't fit
The Wood Elf's block doesn't fit
The Fire Elemental's block doesn't fit
The Bard's charm fits, but according to yesterday's poll, there are no female roles for Ment
The Witch's ultimate ability - the description is a bit strange, but it could be. However, I don't see the point in doing it that way; Ment could be a Mafia member.
Does anyone have any other ideas?

Shaman, how is the Witch's confusion ability described in terms of its application to a target? As a separate night action, or as a night action that the target applies to themselves?
Is it possible to kill oneself in this way if the night action was a kill?
