Honestly, the Ents in The Lord of the Rings movie are the best...

Dendroids should be TREES, not a brick with arms and legs or an alien ball with tentacles...

In the original, the Ents are normal, although a bit spider-like :D
And it's not an alien ball, it's roots, and the red eyes are to make everyone afraid, because it's the spirit of the forest and it should inspire fear, not laughter. Of course, it would be better if there were spriggans or Ents, as I described, so they could tear enemies in two. As for the Buratino from the beta, it's good, but not great. Comparing the Ents from the original and the beta, I can say that the ones from Heroes 3, or the Spriggan from TES III Bloodmoon, are better.
