Is someone preventing you from staying away from that topic? Look at you, acting like a general.

We (moderators and admins) don't want to see respected people insulting each other.
We don't want to give you violation points (which is our direct responsibility on the forum).
We don't want to ban players whose emotions are running high and who can't be brought back to reason through personal conversations.
We don't want tournaments to be affected by the arguments here, with players refusing to play for political reasons (this has happened in my tournaments).
We don't want there to be a war here.
