We started playing without resets. On the first day I took a mini Dwarf Cottage, Tanth arrived. I immediately headed toward the computer, since there was nothing much to do on the respawn. The central adjacent zone was sand, with access to the center through a one-way portal. I spent three days hovering near the Necromancer, thinking he would build a reinforcement structure — no luck, just 1000 and Veil of Darkness :) On day 115 I finished off the computer and went to necromance in its zone, but Tanth stubbornly refused to level necromancy (only experted it on day 123), but I got Earth magic instead. I didn't build bears.
On day 121 I got 150 skeletons and Tanth with expert Earth, but without Oil (I never found Slow until the end of the game), so I decided to head to the center since all the other adjacent zones and treasure zones were dismal swamps. On day 125 I captured the central village, but the opponent had already been there. He had Monere, 4 birds, 25+1 Dragon Fly Hive Wyverns, while I had 200 skeletons. But I decided to continue, hoping for magic and treasure zones.
On day 3 we fought with spoons, but I lost because there was no reinforcement delivery; I gave up the central village. Tanth headed to a treasure zone along the way to the center, hoping for glowing scrolls, a Dragon Fly Hive, and a fat Pandora's Box with ogres. In the Necromancer's garrison, I got complete trash. I found Meteor Shower and Implosion scrolls. In the Pandora's Box, I got 15 Vampire Lords, the Dragon Fly Hive gave 12 Wyverns, and the Griffin Conservatory gave 2. I found nothing else in the treasure zone. I had no control and no strong magic, so I decided to surrender. But it turned out the opponent wasn't doing as well as I thought — he had 26 ducks left and no mass magic on Monere. It could have still been winnable with Implosion at 450, expert Air, and Earth.
Thanks for the game.
Confirmed. Lucky with the Dragon Fly Hives, thanks for the game.
