Just before the New Year, an ancient and peculiar device with the enigmatic name "Runeblast" was discovered in the abandoned storage cellars of the Guild of Mages. It resembled a table with inactive runes arranged along the edge and an arrow in the center.
The very first experiments revealed an unusual property: if the central arrow is spun using the accompanying special Handle, the rune that the arrow points to after it stops will activate, and a random artifact will appear on the table. The second, even more unusual property of the device was discovered quite by accident: if the arrow is spun at least once a day, the artifacts will become better and better with each passing day. The most interesting ones appear on the fifth day.
While the mages were trying to understand the nature of the discovered device and figure out how to produce Handles for it, the device unexpectedly disappeared and was found in one of the rooms of the Gambling House, where the shrewd owners began to allow anyone who wanted to use it. The Council of Factions is currently forced to accept this situation, although it still hopes to return the device...
Once a day, each player receives one Handle. The rest are obtained in battles on the map and in other ways.
