For some reason, when I try to launch the map, the game crashes. I've tried both the original game and a mod with enhanced AI...

The map is very large; saves load after disabling something, but the game crashes during gameplay. The opponents are slow, but it's tolerable, about a minute. However, I really liked the plot; there are no quests, just kill everyone, but one at a time. The appearing heroes are cleverly scripted, and the battles are archaic. My setup works fine; I don't know what's wrong with your game.
