It’s still too early to panic; we’ll see what happens. It will be on Steam. Steam has many old games that have been remastered in “HD.” And, as a rule, many of them offer a choice between playing the HD version or the classic version.
So, it’s quite possible that the same will happen with Heroes. If you don’t like the HD version, you can launch the game with the old textures. The only downside is that they are making Erathia. Although, if they add random maps, it will be great.
