No, it was all fictional, of course.

It's not right to call fictional plots "plots based on a book." I myself searched for this book for a long time, then gave up and believed what I was told. ^_^

Master, the background and intrigue were briefly explained in the Wikipedia article, but people were too lazy to look there. I copied the information into the post, removed the unnecessary parts to fit the volume... now they are accusing me of "copy-pasting." Apparently, ideally, these people want me to retell what the author wrote over 13 years in MY OWN words, and they don't care how much time it takes!

I'm not familiar with the book, but you could have left only small excerpts about the states themselves, what happened after the wizard left, about the Boxes of Odin, and brief descriptions of the roles, which you did very well. Of course, if a brief summary of the book (or series of books) is not necessary to understand the newspaper. Although, in that case, I won't participate, because I plan to read Sword of Truth myself, and I really don't want to spoil the experience.

(But when I warned that the nights would be long, they got worried! Everyone values their own time!)

And what's the rush anyway? It's even better, more nights - less chance that someone won't be able to send their Night Draft.
