We spent a lot of time on restarts, mainly due to repeated encounters, and in the end, we played it out for luck. I got two native companions, but I didn't manage to reach one of them, and the other only helped with a hidden archer squad on the respawn point. At the end of the second week, I spotted Tazhar's movements from a vantage point and ambushed him on day 131 while he was moving. The next day, an army with artifacts almost reached me on Ivory, and since I didn't have time to bring reinforcements, the battle would have ended badly, but I got my chance, ran back to replenish my mana, and in the Fortress, I was able to successfully tank while the archers fired.
